How do you control the mouse speed?

Just got game, but mouse cursor is moving too fast when using laptop touchpad. Somewhere on gog support I saw a note about 'scroll lock' button. Have a 'scroll' key on laptop, but pressing that doesn't do anything, even multiple times.

Im having the same issue. Making the game unplayable. I reached out to support and tried all their solutions but unfortunately still have the mouse skipping around. Did you ever find a solution?
