That is all I can say about the issue. After installing the game, It won't start. Checked Task Manager, and the process doesn't even open, so I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. I've rebooted my computer and reinstalled the game.

Uh... what's your system configuration? Are you running the game as administrator?
I have tried running the game with consent, but it still didn't work. If you are asking about my system specs, I can assure you they are good enough to play the game, and even if they weren't, I'm sure it would still say something.
Hey! I suggest contacting our technical support here: http://bit.ly/GOGTechnical

That's true, I should have started with that. I have now contacted support and am currently awaiting an answer.
any news on this? I'm also in your situation
My case is similar: fresh install on a new Windows 10 machine, SRIV worked the first time, then never worked again. Tried reinstalling, tried following the troubleshooting instructions from GOG, but nothing helps. Did you find a solution?
I never fixed it. Eventually got a refund. I'm guessing the game has really bad compatibility with anything past Win7? Probably not, but I'm out of ideas. At one point I even checked Volition's own website for help, but alas, I found nothing...
hm weird it is working great on my windows 10 pro. ahja always some people who got unlcuky with this stuff...
Hey, to anyone experiencing this problem in the future:
A couple of logo intro videos are shown and then the game stops responding.
A workaround is to install the game on the System Drive C:\

I have the game installed in C:\, but it stops responding after intro logos.
To be honest this was previously a D:\ drive, then I removed the C:\ drive and changed the D:\ drive to be C:\ drive. It shows as C:\, and Saints Row The Third Remastered works great from first open, Saints Row IV acts exactly like Gat out of Hell, expect that IV works if in Windows 95 compatibility mode (GOOH won't even open in W95 compatibility).
I'm on a MacBook Pro 16" with i7 9750H, 16 GB DDR4 2667 MHz, AMD Radeon Pro 5300M 4 GB GDDR6.
GOOH works from first open on an iMac 21,5" with i5 5575R, 8 GB LPDDR3 1867 MHz, and Intel Iris Pro 6100.
Both with Windows 10 Pro. I don't know what to do honestly, I would love to play it also on the MBP 16"...

EDIT: also problems with Saints Row 2, it hangs on Loading 5% on MBP 16" (it works on iMac) but eventually I had sort of "solved" it by porting it in macOS with Porting Kit.

eventually I solved by executing the game from an USB drive, lol
EDIT: I wrote a way more longer text, don’t know why it posted only the 1st sentence. With just that single sentence it sounds like it wasn’t intended to sound, I didn’t want to criticize your statement, was just for saying how incredible it is how I solved.
Anyway, don’t know how, it just happened
EDIT 2: with USB drive I’m referring to a simple 8 GB USB key. The game fits easily in, so if anyone still can’t solve even with the game in C:\ (which anyway it’s the correct way) then may give a try for GOOH from an 8 GB USB key.
For Saints Row IV you can still give it a try, but you will need a 16 GB key, though

I didn't take your post in any negative way :)
I'm surprised they can't or won't fix it, or why the problem appeared in the first place.
