Hi, I already had Saints Row 3 on Steam and so do some of my friends, but I just got it on GOG. Is there any way to play with my Steam friends on the GOG version? Obviously the add friend option doesn't work as it's not connected to my Steam friends.

Sadly, no. For now both Steam and GOG version use the GameSpy service for the multiplayer. But since it has been shutted down in 21th February 2013, you can't play online.

You can use Hamachi or another similar program to simulate a LAN and play via LAN.

You can play Saints Row's 2, 3 and IV via Tunngle, Hamachi or Evolve.

Hamachi is very laggy. It wasn't 2 years ago. But a couple of days ago we tried to play Contagion via Hamachi and it was very laggy.
