Has anyone else had this problem? I attempted to use Gentlemen of the Row for my free copy of Saints Row 2 (thanks GOG!) and for some reason it does not work correctly. Of the three files it is supposed to create to be moved into the main game directory (patch.vpp_pc, preload.tbl and preload_anim.tbl) it only creates the latter two, and also deletes the batch file used to run the mod (which means you have to replace it if you want to change/try anything else). This is on the most current build of the patch (1.9.2). If anyone has a fix or workaround, please let me know! Thanks.

that should not happen... (especially the deletion part...)

what kind of virus scanner are you using? maybe it's one of those overly aggressive ones...
The batch file is used only when you're trying to make your custom build of the mod, not to run the mod itself. But as SpikedSoul said, your antivirus or firewall may have removed it out of sheer paranoia.
Thanks for the hint!

Turns out ZoneAlarm was the culprit. When I shut it down the mod builds and functions perfectly, while with it on the build process actually is aborted during install - I see a lot more info scrolling with ZA off and then I get the screen at the end saying the patch is ready, which I wasn't getting before. And the batch file does not get deleted meaning I can go back and tweak it again.

Much appreciated!
