It seems like I can't change the resolution of the game. This is annoying because the left-most 2 columns of my inventory (or shop inventories) are inaccessible to me, as they are off screen. I also have the same amount of space missing from the right side of the screen.

So my question is, how do I change the resolution? I looked in options, not there. Tried the config file in the folder (Just says "config), not there. Am I missing something?

Sacred Gold runs at a fixed resolution of 1024x768. You can't change it.

If something is capped, your desktop resolution might be lower or something is wrong with scaling.
Check your desktop resolution as well as the scaling mode settings in your graphics card's control panel. Try different options and check how it looks in-game. I'd start with scaling on and keeping aspect-ratio.

Ahh well, that's lame. You would think they would have the ability but, ehh.
You could also play in windowed mode if you cant fix it in fullscreen and your screen has a resolution high enough.

No, it's not ancient, it still looks like this on XP. ;)

Well, what I mean is that the Catalysts haven't supported XP in years--those XP drivers are legacy drivers, etc., hence the really old format. The entire device-driver model changed with Vista, and no Vista, Win7 or Win8 drivers support XP. Man, this conversation really brings home how old XP really is...;) Thanks for the jpg, and the memories!
so what if i play on a 30" with 2560x1600 resolution? still play at 1024?

Yes. That has not changed.
Im trying to get this game to run on obs in full screen mode. How do I determine the numerical setting of the game. Its running under a compatability of windows XP service pack 2. I need to be able to set obs and this games resolution to the same settings.

I'm using dgVoodoo and the game works without compatibility mode. try setting the resolution in the dgVoodoo control panel
