Hi, first off, love the game and concept - it's just oustanding.

Quick question - had a crash during my game, and now when I load it up it only shows the first four checkpoints, although I have the .dat files up to 06-19.

Is there a setting in the checkpoint son or gamesettings.dat or save.dat files I can change so it can see all of the checkpoints?

Or are they likely cooked? No biggie if so. Thanks!
Hey there, I'm sorry for the delay, I've been visiting family during the holidays.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, unfortunately there is no easy way to edit the dat/json files to make the checkpoints appear again, each is defined individually in the checkpoints.json file.

Thank you for your patience.

P.S.: If it's not too much trouble, could you share some context as to how the crash leading to this happened? Any info is appreciated.

No worries! Wasn't expecting a fast response this time of year anyway - so thank you for your taking time out to reply!

I'd started a new character to be someone differrent, and had the game running for a long time on the computer while I was doing other things around the house (I think about 6+ hours with no quits) and it crashed just after the bear encounter (roman general and dogs). I suspect it was just a memory leak, as I've gone back and tried to duplicate the character and choices as best as possible (this time over a couple of days with sevearl quits and shut downs etc) and it went through fine.
Thank you for the follow up information, I appreciate it, that's definitely something I never tested before (letting the game run for 6 hours), so thank you. I'm glad you gave it another try, and hope you enjoyed the game in the end.
