An update for the game has been released on Steam yesterday:

Rune Classic has been updated to version 1.11 with the following changes:

Compatible with DirectX 11
Playable on Windows 10

Good luck out there, warrior.
Honestly I'm a bit confused about the changes. Anyway, when is this going to be released on GOG?

I messaged Human Head Studios via twitter about this and they mentioned they'll look into trying to get the update onto GOG at some point.

Just tried the 1.11 version, maybe is just bad luck but on 2 machines the graphics was corrupted(weapons and arms dettached from body, most 3d characters have glitches) and the game runs fine with 1.10(none of these machines uses win10, one is w7pro and another w8.1) so maybe the compability for older SOs are broken at least on my crappy machines.
GOG still has v1.10, why hasn't it been updated to v1.11 already?
