For some reason I can't pick any video resolutions at all with GOG the version of Rune Classic, it just shows a blank box where all the video resolution options should be when I click the drop-down menu. I know I can change the resolution through the Rune.ini file, but I don't recall the Steam version of the game having this issue. I also noticed some trees and plants are bent in the wrong way or turned upside down inside and going through the maps' floor.

Appears to be an issue with resolution. You have to run it at 1024x768 or else it will crash.

Some discussion on the problem:

If you have a different problem, some details would probably be helpful.
tried Rune Gold (Original Version) instead, and all the problems were resolved. 1600 x 900 was the max resolution using Direct3D but it seems basically the same as when i played it back in the day, other than the brightness being a bit low. So I would definitely recommend ppl just forget about Rune Classic and instead go with the Gold download available in your GOG - My Collections. Saves some frustration.
