Hi every one,

After 15 hours playing I just finished easy mode scenario.
So naturally I thought that it might be interesting to get some more challenge.
The caution said everything would be anew but I really expected it would be about the story as I change difficulty level. Alas ! The easy mode stages have been cleared up as well. So there is no more possibility to try and finish cleaning the achievments here (maybe more easy for me than it might be in higher difficulties).

Do you intend to separate saves of the scenario and the unlock/sabing of the locations ? At least ? (maybe like most of the other games do placing a double saving mode one for locations/advancement of secondary quests and one serious save for the main stuff ?)

I really was surprised how much easy difficulty was hard even to begin at. In fact I really was wondering if the setting of difficulty was that different between France and your country. In this case, I would grant your country gamers a Big cheer as I ve had to try hard only to finish what I did today.

Hopefully, I won't be the only one asking for this modification/convenient add in your nice game.

I'd have to check because I can't right now, but how the secondary quest for coins can be finished ? as it happens to be validated after the mission is complete and the last one close on the credits almost without an epilogue ?
Was I too quick going back in the main menu to launch a new difficulty game ? I didn't see any option for NG+ so I thought maybe I ve been too impatient again...

Impatiently waiting for your answers,

Yours,

DEESSE

I would like to know as well. If there's a ng+ mode and how it works. I tried "new game" and it says something like "this will overide your current save file" and i tried stage selection but when i go to Rengkok It's Rengkok at the time we have already captured Trafficking and not initial Rengkok. So i guess we can't re-start the story through mission selection. But i don't want to risk losing my progression if i choose new game.
Hey,

I tried to quote you all nicely and respond to every point, but gog has some hard time processing it. So, in order of appearance, more or less:

*Spoilers ahead*

1. If you choose a difficulty when starting a new game and stick with it till the end, you'll get a respective achievement. If you change the difficulty level mid-game, you'll receive an achievement for the lower difficulty. To get the achievement for Hard, you'll need to start a new game with this difficulty and stick with it till the end.

When it comes to saving modes, we won't implement different saves for different difficulties. There is one save for everything. You may use Select Level to go back back to the second and third city phase (by progressing through Wizard's location and King's Lair, respectively), but to get to the first phase, you'll need to start a new game and finish the prologue.

Choosing "New Game" will delete your save. But once you've finished epilogue, you may replay any level (except for the prologue and the first city phase) from "Select Level", and try to unlock other achievements this way.

2. High difficulty was what we've been aiming at, so I guess mission accomplished? ;)
Keep trying, you'll get better and better with every stage. Get used to the mechanics and use skills, they help!

3. To get this achievement, you have to find all the coins and talk to the oracle on every city phase (after prologue, Creeps' parking garage and Hanza Terminal) to get the fortune explained. The "Missions" tab should update accordingly. If you've done this all, the achievement will be unlocked once you've collected the last coin on one of the Imagination Farm's levels.

4. No NG+, but you all will be in for a treat when the DLC is finished!

Cheers!

Hi all,

I'll stop complaining then. At least about the difficulty, I'm weak and I'll have to deal withit, ain't it right ?

1 a) Does that make it we can play easy mode until the last boss fight and upgrade the difficulty there to get the highest dif. mode achievement ? ;-p just jocking, yet....

b) Well one and for all save is an uncommun choice in games but afteer the first sgock, it s your game right ? So your game your rules. I dislike this very one deeply-the most.

c) But the news concerning access to level choice is reassuring and could have been nicelly added in the level selection of the game to reassure customers right ?

2 Yeah well, I m a bit lazt right now, so Ruiner will have to be at least as appealing as D.O.S. and DIII to get me play at it before I go to those. ;-p

3 I fear there must be a misunderstanding there. I ll try to clear it, right away.
I ve grind the parking lot more than seven times during my game and never came accross the door giving access to the coin. I ve seen it playing with the camera but I still have no idea how to get at it, nor where I ve not been. Just a question of time there. But what really bemuse me is :
How to get the last explanation from the "witch" as we only can give her the coins AFTER we came back from mission...? But The last mission close abruptely on credits after we have smacked the last boss but for a nice last ride (really too short epilogue there. It really feels like "Thanks for playing. Move to the exit already" finisher). This impression of mine my be very exagerated for most of customers and other players but, well... I really felt kicked away toward the credits.

Adding a point, If there is no NG+ Is there a way to earn enough xp to get our hands at the whole set of skills a way or another ? I m the kind to crave for whole stuff as much as possible and crave for this in Ruiner ;-p
... even if three skills seem to do the whole work anyway...

Guys the design is really fabulous, a bit aggressive for the epileptics (well, no one chose to become psycho right ?) but even with less interruption from o visitors wizard or her... it s a gruesome and honed game. Graphs are just clean and shiny !

Thanks a lot for Ruiner.

don't be so hard on yourself, practice makes perfect :)

Just the opposite. You may change difficulties as you wish, but in the end will get the achievemnt for the lowest one, as the in-game prompt warns.

Not so uncommon nowadays, I'd say. The game is not that long and Select Level does not reset your entire progress, so I guess we've achieved a balance here.

Two of the coins in the Parking garage are behind closed gates. They're closed when you're fighting the enemies, but can be hacked open immediately once you've cleared the arena.

The achievement is unlocked upon picking the very last coin. The oracle will appear on its own, you don't need to get back to the city. Step by step:
1. After prologue, go to the Oracle to get the fortune explained ("explained" is the key word here, you need to choose the appropriate dialogue option or talk to her twice).
2. Pick up 3 coins in the Parking garage, proceed to the city, talk to the Oracle to get the fortune explained
3. Pick up 3 coins on Terminals, proceed to the city, talk to the Oracle to get the fortune explained
4. Pick up 3 coins on Farms, the achievement will unlock on the last coin picked

I've just talked with our guys aaaand... there may be an NG+ :)
Anyways, after beating the game, you may select any level you want without loss of skills and proceed to level up further. Mind you, the level cap is set at 25, but you may still earn skill points and try out different builds.

And thanks for your feedback and kind words!
