RCT2 runs fine, beside the fact that it is all... pink, white, blue and many many other colors.

I can't take a screenshot as the print screen button doesn't work whilst in the game. The in-game screenshots always end up being normal as well.

Specs:
AMD A6 3420m
6GB RAM
7670M + 6520g

RCT1 had this problem but i fixed it by having it on windowed mode.

Took me a while to download it. The "O" looked like an "o" xD

It fixed it, too bad i can't play it full screen. 1280x720 seems to work as well which is fine, the screen in only 1366x768. Thank you very much for the help.

Have the same problem and my screen looks like its on acid trip but for RCT 1.

Same solution for windowed mode works for me but i had the same problem for Alpha Centauri and i solved it but putting

directdraw = 0

in a config file of the game. (credit goes to someone else for finding this)

Can you disable directdraw in RCT 1 / 2 somehow if you are on Win 7?

Same issue, but also having a issue downloading the hack... Both RTC 1 and 2 are showing funky colours on full screen, windowed mode is working but tiny of course.. First time I got something from GoG that doesnt really work, but I suspect that it is a driver issue, only why would it then still work in Windowed mode?

where did you extract the three files? sorry, I'm new to fixing old games manually.

Had this colors problem on Windows 7 64 bits. Playing with the window hack (from github.com/downloads/ToadKing/ddhack/rct2-ddhack2.zip) fixed the colors problem, but I wanted to play fullscreen. So I deleted the ddhack files and tried to make it work fullscreen.

I managed to play fullscreen by upgrading my graphic card drivers (AMD), installing DirectX 9 stuff from June 2010 (microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109) and playing in Windows 95 compat' mode.
