It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

friendly_fired: I've installed it as specified and copied the ini file as specified. Am I supposed to have a ddrawl.dll in my install directory? I did a install from the GOG installer and the only dll in the directory is the goggame.dll.

Toad_King: You extract everything from the zip file into game directory. (You did extract the zip file right?)
Yes. So my current install directory has the "hack" folder, "logger" folder, along with the other RCT2.exe etc Data folder etc
is this supposed to work on windows xp?
i extracted the zip into the same directory as the exe and i have VC2010 x86 installed but i'm running windows xp. the game boots and has sound but nothing renders in the window, it just ghosts whatever was there on my screen previously.

so everything seems to work except displaying graphics.

Looks like you clicked the "zip" button and not the download link. (GitHub changed it so it is no longer a button. I'll change the first post to explain that.)
I get the same problem WeLoveKanjimari was having, where the cursor is too high or the screen is too low.

I'm using the newest version, and adding yoffset as a value into the .ini file doesn't affect it no matter how high or low i set the value to.
Works perfectly!
Thank you very much sir.
Hi, I'm having a little trouble with your hack. Whenever I start the game it becomes all strechted out and I can hardly tell what's going on. Could you tell me how to fix this?

I've had a couple reports about this problem, unfortunately I can't replicate it to try to fix it. Sorry :(
I have the same problem as Idrs, where it opens in a window and the sound runs and everything but the window is just a redraw of whatever I have open behind it. (On XP)
Thanks for making this Toad_King.

Unfortunately I'm getting the same problem as ldrs and Rynick under Windows XP. Compatibility mode and disabling visual themes doesn't fix it and I've downloaded the VS 2010 Redistributable.
"The program can't start because VCOMP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem."

I already have a working version of the distributable. Also, the game works without the three hack files present, just in regular mode (i.e. forced fullscreen). I am running on Windows 7, new system. Does the hack only work in a certain compatibility that bypasses this popup error?

Hi, you need the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)

I had the same problem on Windows 7 64bit.

I'm having the same problem here...
Thank you! looked crap in full screen on 1080p monitor, now it's a charm!!
Thanks for this dude, works a treat on windows 7 64bit with 1280x1064 (aside from the top-left window repositioning at the start), nice one!
