Alex Mauer has been issuing false DMCA claims all around any game she has done music for (including this one), on Youtube, Twitch and also on any game in Steam she has done music for.

Steam gave her a warning but she took the liberty to falsely DMCA claim River City Ransom on Steam.
Its a World vs Alex situation and shes doing as much chaos as damage she can.

You're absolutely right, bro. Valve actually PULLED River City Ransom Underground from Steam, and while I've no doubt that it'll be back up in short order, it's amazing how far she's been able to go.

While it doesn't have anything to do with GoG, you're right to warn them in case Alex comes knocking here with this bullshit. Honestly, I'm surprised she hasn't tried any shit here.

This is bullshit, sorry for the word. I never heard anything like that, neither knowing who he is, but it sounds like abuse of personal rights for me. Yes, anyone can claim something as his own but first it have to be proven. Actually this is a type of copyright, isn't it? In the first place this Alex should put something under protection before even comming up with this non-sense. I doesn't like where this heading now.

Legally, she doesn't have a leg to stand on. The work she did for both Starr Mazer and River City Ransom Underground were works for hire. The law is unambiguous that the person who commissions a work is the author for copyright purposes unless an agreement to the contrary has been made.

It's just that YouTube and Steam, being the all-conquering colossi they are, are very slow to react to nonsense like this.

I see but I can understand both YouTube and Steam. Nowdays there are a lot of trouble can born from these copyright issues. But what you said and how I know just made it more sure: this person can't do anything except winning some time for nothing. That he-bitch striked my friend's River City Ransom Underground video. Not even just a music copyright thing, but enforced the video deletion without option to mute it. Of course this means his channel got marked as cautious or whatever and requires 3 montsh to wear off. That Alex guy seriously needs some medicine, seems like his mental state is over-degrading.

He can not. This type of strike doesn't leave option for counter-claim. Not even to remove the music or the copyright protected content but automatically deleted and leaving a warn. It is disgusting if you ask me.

I saw it back on Steam today. I think it returned at the end of July by reading one of the comments welcoming it back. I'm happy that it has returned there and devs can get support from there. But, shit on Mauer for being a completely rotten douche-bag by interfering with our gaming experience.
