Agilulfe: There's indeed a problem with the lack of com we get concerning gog's releases of games already released on other platforms.
It's mostly producers' fault, tho, who think that a game released DRM free will be hacked faster, but come on!
I discovered Risen 3 was released bacause I just saw it on a pirate torrent board, and when I want to buy the game, it's not on gog. WTF?!
I'll come again see if it's here in the current month, and if not, then I may play it anyway, but it's really sad. :(
I'll pick up Risen 3 when it appears on GOG and the DLC is included with the game.

I don't understand either why the game companies don't let DRM go. Look at any torrent site on the day a game is released and it will be there that day. DRM doesn't decrease piracy. If anything if can increase piracy because the DRM can cause problems for those that buy the game legally.

Me too, hope it'll get here soon.

dal: Is any ETA? I want Risen 3 on GOG badly. :)
What about DLCs?
I can wait. At the moment I am in Ferelden and Orlais, then I will most like be in Vellin or No-Mans-Land kicking Nilfgardian ass.

If it is 2016, this is fine with me ;)
I purchased the German PC-DVD version and it also has all the 3 pre-order bonus DLCs included:

- Uprising of the Little Guys
- Fog Island
- Adventure Garb

The shitty reviews might help getting here earlier :)
Steam: 65/100

I really don't understand why they treat every release different from another. They already got 1/2 here.

Gog is getting strange. Always used to be the cheapest and best. Now...
Risen 2 @ gog.com: almost $20
Risen 2 @ Steam: $5.49
I hate steam but that is too good to turn down.

The Steam version of Risen 2 is currently on sale. Its regular price is the same as GOG.com.

Non-sale prices are generally comparable between GOG.com and Steam.
Yep, Risen and Risen 2 were on 75% sale on Steam while Risen 3 had 50% off sale.
I'd prefer to buy Risen 3 here but if it goes on 75% on Steam first, I'd be surely tempted to get it then.
Piranha Bytes needs to get Risen 3 on GoG soon. DRM free is not something smaller developers like Piranha Bytes should be waiting years on to monetize with their games. There's a market here and now for a DRM free Risen 3. Hopefully they'll have the vision to capture it sooner rather than later.

I'm also eagerly waiting for Risen 3 to be released on GOG, would be an instabuy for me even if the price was a bit higher compared to Steam. I just love the Gothic and Risen series. Hopefully they will release it here.
Any news on this? Risen 3 is currently 80% off on that other store.
I hope that there will be an Enhanced Edition also for the PC version of Risen 3 and that GOG will sell it directly, maybe GOG had been waiting for that edition.

P.S. Metro Redux was released by Deep Silver a year ago and GOG released it recently; so we can really hope for Risen 3 to be here soon.

That's usually not the developer's (i.e. PiranhaBytes') decision but rather the publisher's, so DeepSilver in the case of Risen 3. For PiranhaByte's next project Elex the publisher is NordicGames and will make the decisions about distribution platforms. Luckily the have a history of publishing (nearly?) all of their games on GOG.
Well im still waiting for this release here on GOG, but actually im not expecting anything now.
I love DeepSilver and would happily pay current price for a GOG.com edition... its $29.99 on steam and at present (along with 5 other times) its less than $10 on sale. I wont buy from Steam what i can buy here at anyprice... so i wait and hope.
