Gudadantza: Ok. I can answer myself a couple of the questions.
-Like in the old version, when you are in Gil's Tent, there is a bed you can use to sleep. When you awake it is nightime and if you own the DLC you are able to explore the world in nightime with new graphics and with a new music track added. If you do not own the DLC a message will appear advertising that the nightime exloration is not permitted and you are enclosed into the tent, until you sleep again. Interesting.
-Apparently the vanilla game comes bundled with a trial version of the hint book system ingame avaiable for some of the places in the beginning of the game. Just a way to test if you are interested in what it can offer.
-Now my only question is about the Secret Library DLC. If it is lore, history, documents and more story via journals etc, I could be interested. It can enrich the game. My concern is the addition of new clues or some spoilers.
Greetings
Yes, the Secret Library DLC dives deep into not only Gil's life, but never before shared details about the other characters, and even the lives of a few ancient Egyptians who were involved in concealing the "Riddle". Much of this lore existed during the first release, but we chose to not release it at the time. I think you'll enjoy the added insights and rich backdrop it provides. But it is not necessary to solve the game. Have fun!
