This PC port is legit awesome.
But i will argue one specific scene was actually more scarier in the censored version than the uncut version

SPOILER ALERT! But when the zombie first time turns around in the game. (In the uncut you see Kenneth's head fall off) But in the censored one the zombie sees you at once before that scene happens.

Other than that i am having a massive good time with this port on PC!

I honestly feel like the censored release has a few alterations that creates a more haunting mood. I wish I would get a new version of the opening FMV that combines certain aspects of the censored and uncensored versions together.

One good thing with the uncut is i get to see Chris Redfield smoking in the intro. Makes him badass!

For me that's the one and pretty much only thing that's actually better in the uncensored version. However, it makes more sense if we don't see Chris smoke because, like Jill, he also has to acquire the Lighter. It's not that he doesn't smoke in the censored version, they just cover those scenes or cut 'em short. It's a continuity problem that's present in all uncensored versions for lack of foresight. They could've made it so that the ending with Chris is different if you happen to complete the game while having the Lighter item in your inventory. As an Easter egg, I mean.

I don't know if it's the case for all non-smoking Chris versions but at least in some you can still hear the clicking noise of his lighter. Those 3 original games are a gold mine for various comparisons of regional differences and censored stuff. On, and for removed and changed beta content.

alright, ultimate lifeform dork. That is enough and listen here to this latex bat or teal dragon. This game is purely uncensored for some windows, mac os linux but it is technically for windows though and in color Japan had this on computer with subtitles in color, but the consoles are censored. if you are wondering which zombie ate was part of kenneth's flesh and the head dropped down and roll towards the camera.
