I just finished my first game using the More to Explore DLC, and earned some new campfire cards. When I click on one to reveal it, however, the game immediately crashes. I've retried several times, and each time it does the same thing. I like the card system, but this makes it completely impossible to acquire more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

I'm having the same problem.
sent a couple bug reports via the crash dialogue... but anyway same issue here
Same issue here, it happened twice.
Same here on two playthroughs
Came here just to report the same thing. Hoping the GOG guys can point it out to them or something since it's an obviously common problem.

Edit: Reported it in their forums, it would seem to be a GoG build specific issue somehow. Hoping it'll be fixed soon.

Same issue for me, i also heard you can enable advanced options on the top right corner of the screen in the crews selection menu to view the unlocked cards but i don't see it anyone else see this option wondering if this affects the GOG version as well.

I can't imagine that it does, since the crash occurs before the cards are actually added to the collection.

same problem here
From my and others reporting this on the Abbey Games forum this is the latest on this issue:

Rutger wrote:
Small update: the crash happens in an obscure part of the engine... which just so happened to have broken crash reporting. So I've just put a new build of the game live on Steam (I can't update the GOG build myself, so that'll have to wait a little longer), which includes better crash reporting for that particular area. If you run into this issue again, please give a shout in this topic, and I can look up the crash report. Thanks for your patience! I'd hoped to have this fixed a lot sooner. :(

Me: Hello. Just to clarify, are you saying the problem is in theory solved but that you fixed the crash reporting just in case or that you could only fix the crash reporter and that we should try to reproduce the crash again so we can send the report with the new tool ASAP?

Rutger: Nope, only fixed the crash reporter, although I have been getting reports that it might have resolved the issue itself. Since I've put up the fix on Steam I have not gotten anymore crash reports for that bug, which seems a little too convenient.

Please GOG let the new build come through quickly so we can at best play the game fixed, at worst manage to properly send the crash reports to the dev. As it stands all of us that bought the DLC here are stuck with a half-functioning product :/ .

I had the same issue, and I fixed it today.

Uninstall the game, start Galaxy "Run as Administrator," and reinstall the game. After that, go to the game folder (in my case, it's located in C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\Games\Renowned Explorers) to start the game "Run as Administrator." Exit the game, and start the game on Galaxy.

Hopefully this helps you, too.

I don't know why, but it works. Thanks a bunch!
I just get theese crasches again since the last update... I tried uninstalling and running Galaxy as admin then closing galaxy and going to gamefolder and running RE-IS + Exp. as admin, then closing that and running it on galaxy and I still cannot open the cardpacks at the screen after expedition. It just takes a bite out of the gameattractiveness... I have spent 160 + hours in this game and am trying to complete it + the challenges to 100% but I cannot do it with this bug still around, please help me resolve this issue if possible, thanks! :)
