I suppose I'm wasting my time asking then......

Why has my progress on adventure mode suddenly reset back to a much earlier point in time?

It did not reset altogether to the very beginning, but to a point about 20% along my progress - 80% of everything I had bought / achieved disappeared.
If you can understand that. It's difficult to put into fucking words.

What gives?
