Maybe someone will tell me, this is a feature, but for now I guess this is a bug.
I was having the first battle in the dungeon Falgarforest (in German it's "Falgarwald"). You fight tree monsters, bugs (haha) and an eagle.
In round 6 or 7 I only had one opponent left, but instead of blindly attacking this one, I wanted to prepare my group for a good finish, or in other words: place them around him and save up authority points for the good attacks.
All of a sudden I noticed in round 7 or so, that one of my 4 characters was missing... no pop up or anything announced this, besides the fact that he was at full health. The next round, round 8 or maybe 9, a second character dissappeared from the grid. The tree monster was doing it's protection leaf dance or what's this called. So if the tree monster isn't doing some secret magic trick, I guess this is a bug?!

Petal Dance, or something (~~hello there, pokemon~~). It deals damage after each activation while shields are above 0. IMO that move is kinda too good, although I won anyway.

I just realized this, thanks for the heads up.

The problem is with the always filled health and shield bars (only the numbers decrease), the visualization of loosing hit points is almost not noticeable.

The game mechanics feedback is not he best IMO. So many times I don't know what is wrong xD but it's still fun :)
