I downloaded X360CE, unzipped it, installed it, set everything up.

I can't get it to use the buttons, A,B,X,Y even though it responds to them in the menu.

I can't get the vehicle to move forwards or backwards. I get get it to change pitch and move side to side.

Please help me.

Hello,

I also have installed x360ce and none of my gamepad (thrusmater dual analog 4 or speedlink controller) is working in the game that doesn't even see them in the menu...

Which version of x360ce did you use ? (_x64 or not ?) and have you renamed the "Xinput....dll" file created ?

I copied the XInput file from windows. I used the X64 version.

The sticks work fine for me but I can't get the buttons to work.

ok thank's, on the thread of game, someone told me I had to put the Xinput1_3.dll & x360ce.ini created in this directory : Redout/redout//binarie/Win64. Since I've done this it work perfectly for me :)

Not sure if this helps:
I got 2 no name "xbox" controllers. They do not work in menu. But when I started two player mode, they did work for both players. No setup or anything. Just worked. Doesnt work in the menu which is utterly confusing

Thanks, I had to have it generate the file and set up the controls and move the 2 files.

I have it running now.
