Same problem. Have the official wireless xbox one/x/s controller, works with all other games but RF:A isn't working right. "X" registers as "B", "B" registers as "A" and when I got the game started (couldn't use recommend directx 10 or 11, had to use directx 9 or it wouldn't start a new game) I couldn't do anything but look around with the right joystick, nothing else would register at all. I've got a Zephyrus 14" with Ryzen 9 and RTX 3060. All other games on steam, GOG, and Epic work just fine with the wireless controller. Found several people on steam with same issue, but no fix that I could understand and replicate.
