I put together a quick video walkthrough on how to install the Dash Faction RF1 patch (which is basically essential for the game to run properly). One of the most important things Dash Faction fixes is the exploding submarine issue.

NOTE: You may have seen suggestions on other forums about spamming the quicksave key, limiting frame rate, etc. With Dash Faction, this bug is fully resolved without needing to use any of those wonky workarounds.

You can find the video walkthrough on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/e4Vs3LPXX7A

I seen this solution too late. I managed to replay this mission without submarine, but with mines in my arsenal (I conserved them from begining) to destory first enemy submarine by myself, and avoid second enemy submarine, and swim to dockbay...

Any other critical glith in future or not? Maybe I can finish the game in vanilla state of game.

There are many, many glitches in the game (especially on modern computers) that you will likely encounter throughout. Most aren't as outwardly visible/obvious as the submarine explosion, but nevertheless they are present.

On the other hand, there's no downside to using Dash Faction. It adds features (enhanced graphics, widescreen support, etc.), fixes every bug you're likely to encounter, and doesn't remove any "authenticity" or functionality found in the vanilla/unpatched game. I'd recommend anyone to install Dash Faction before playing the game for literally any purpose - there's just all pluses and no negative.

I will try to break through, perhaps if I cannot complete the game due to glitches, I will try this port. Most likely, saves from the original game will not be supported. I've gone too far. At the moment, I am accompanying the consul through the mines.
