Hello All

I am having a problem with time compression during certain parts of the game.

Normally time compression works just fine for me but for some reason it will disable itself just as I'm arriving back at the aerodrome to land. All attempts to reengage it after that have so far failed and I have also experienced the same problem about midway through a mission, despite there being no enemy present and my pilot and plane in perfect condition.

What makes this all the more strange is that I have been able to engage time compression before during a dogfight!

Is this a problem with the game or Is the time compression feature meant to work like this and I am simply having a herp derp moment?

When the game decides it is time to be landing back at base, Time compression gets disabled. So it will always happen when you are landing with your mates at the base, or when your mates start landing even though you are still in a middle of a dogfight.

I'm going to sound really stupid here as I've played many campaigns but - what the heck is "time compression"?

speeding the game up. Have a long flight to your patrol area? Go on Auto pilot and speed up the game untill you are there. Use the [ and ] keys (bracket keys)

Oh, OK, I knew about that but I heard long ago that it caused problems so I didn't use it and basically forgot about it.
