I always liked the Hells Angels Superpatch but I don't know if it is available any more. I think the patches were the only way to substantially improve graphics.

I posted this several years ago out of boredom just wondering what happened. Then for whatever reason forgot all about it again until 3 years later. I don't game any more. This was the only game I enjoyed. I just mostly remember a large rb3d community of awesome people that all enjoyed wasting endless hours on the game. Multi-player was a lot of fun. I don't have time for gaming anymore. That was 15 or more years ago. Time sure does fly.

It's cool to see you Wail, Swamp Fox, Camejockey - people I remember flying back then. Salute!

Never been part of the community - got in late and only played vs AI but I have not enjoyed any other WW-I flight simulations and it seems the whole genre is basically dead. I really wish that "Swamp Fox" et al had been able to convince game owners to loosen up.

It would be great if a new WWI flight sim was produced. I'd probably buy some hardware and give it a shot. The old rb3d community was awesome bar none. Nothing like it. You missed out IMO. Lots of good people having fun on the sim. They used to have get togethers at some airport in upstate New York although unfortunately I never was able to go to one. They used to have t-shirts made up for the wives who attended "Red Baron widows club". I dunno if current multi-player games and people have anything like that. Maybe it was just a different time.
