Just a head's up for those who were wondering if Red Baron 3D works in Windows 10.

If you use the "Glide" settings in the graphics options, it will not only run, but it will run in many modern resolutions. I have my game running in 1920x1080 and it looks amazing for an 18-year-old game.

They just don't make them like this anymore. I couldn't get into Rise of Flight. I had it on my hard drive for years and every time I played it, I just felt the joy being sucked from my bones. It's an excellent simulator, but a poor game in my humble opinion.

This game has a fun factor that just isn't present in most modern sims. We've become so proficient at making our sims realistic, we forgot to make them engaging and fun.

I haven't played Red Baron, which also came with this pack, and don't intend to. My tolerance for dated graphics can only extend so far, but I love 3D. By itself, it's well-worth the 6.00 I paid for it.
I set it to Glide in the graphics options but it does not give me the option to increase the resolution beyond 1024X768, So I am curious as to how you got an increased resolution.
As would I because, RB3D crashes immediately after the logos have shown up.
And no matter how I changed the settings would this change.

So then I started it up naturally with the EXE in the folder, and now the game started up,
however the resolution is locked at the max of 1024x768 ( or whatever it is ).

Trying to start a -Fly Now- session results in the game immediately crashing to desktop.

But now however, using the glide way, the game will start up BUT, it's settings are identical as if I had started it up without the glide.

In other words, Red Baron 3D still does not work for me, and never has worked properly, for as long as I've owned it on GOG.

I'm in the same boat as you. I've tried various nGlide settings; sometimes when I load the game up, the mouse refuses to work, then other times it does, I can go through the menus normally, but whenever I try to actually get into a flight/mission, the game crashes after loading the splash screen. I cannot seem to get the actual game to work. This used to be a game I played often with my father, and I want to be able to play it again
