Can you tell me how you solved the problem? I'm having the same issue where the game says "Loading GOG Galaxy Login" at the beginning and it hangs for a long time. Is there a way to turn this off?

uh, got me on the wrong foot. havent played it for a while and i cant remember if/what i did.
havent updated it to a current version, but when i launch it now either via the shortcut or exe, the
loading bar stops for ~5 second at the galaxy login stage, then proceeds regardless if internet access exists or not.
(galaxy is not installed)
so im currently not aware if that process can be speed up or skipped completey.

Well the game is hanging for a long time every time it starts up. I don't know how to tell the game to stop searching for GOG Galaxy since I don't use Galaxy.

Same problem here. It stops loading on startup for around 15 seconds before it gives up on Galaxy. Is there a startup parameter or something?
