Hey everyone... I just saw this game finally being released here :) I have the original 4CD version (bought over a decade back) in mint condition! But, running that, swapping CDs with current config and all is messy :/

I just wanted to confirm if this game (GOG version) runs really fine on Windows 7 64bit... anyone here already tried it out on it???

Cheers.

Yes, it works flawlessly on my System (Win 7 Home Premium 64bit). It is emulated through DOSBox, one of the greatest works of software I have ever seen (next to ScummVM). If you see that a game uses DOSBox you can be pretty sure it will run correctly.

Here is a list of all GOG games using DOSBox:

The only problem is that the DOS emulation is quite demanding on your processor so the game may struggle on weaker netbook processors. But in this case you can lower the resolution of the game and it will run faster (since graphics processing in those days was done by the CPU this will lessen the emulation demands).

Wow! Thanks for such a quick reply :)

I'm now gonna purchase this right now! Also, CPU will not be a problem, as I am using Core i5-760.

Thanks again!
Can confirm it on Win7 Ultimate 64bit :) Running it on a Latitude E6510, not a stutter even if I use hq3x scaler. Funny enough it's usually the cutscenes that make dosbox struggle, not the games itself. But in this case, everything is just perfect.
I actually own the original of this on CD, but kept getting stuttering cutscenes & weird colour effects in DOSbox - the GOG version runs flawlessly on my Win7x64 Home Premium.
I can also confirm it runs flawlessly on Win 7 x64. Worth every penny and the some. This game is amazing.

Win 7 x64 Pro
2x2.8Ghz Quad Core Xeons
16GB DDR2-800 Ram
Radeon HD 5870 1GB
Yes it runs on win7 64, before I had the GOG version I had this set up using the original discs through DOSBOX.
