The game has definitively something that get you hook with it, more if you forget about the totally out-dated gunplay and combat, and technical aspects, the end of the game is kinda cheesy and a bit WTF but also topic, but i really enjoyed the experience... it´s a game it were been made now, with the same puzzles and story, wtih actual gameplay and graphics and it will be a total jewel.

Nowadays is still totally enjoyable if you forgive it´s handicaps.

My favourite part about the game is the sound, especially the ambient effects. Still top notch. Other than that, the pacing of the game is really well done -- from the dark corridors of the mansion to the sunny, otherworldly gardens, then back to the gloom.

Yep, i think the pace of the game is really compelling, even nowadays. Somethinf that´s kinda difficult for such an old game.
