Anyone have any sort of listing as to what the various spells do? What's in the manual is mostly useless, and I certainly don't recall my trial and error from years ago.
Now, that I'm playing this again, it's even worse than Tunnels & Trolls, excepting for the fact that there aren't many/any instadeaths that litter T&T both inside and outside of combat, but at least that game (manual anyways) told you as to what various spell effects were. (Had also forgotten how horrifically bad the UI was as well, and the clunkiness of the isometric combat... at least money is easy to come by...)

I wonder why they didn't do a better job in the manual for the International version as at that time no one outside of Germany was ever likely to have heard of DSA, and even if they were familiar with it game effects were likely different from P&P(engine limitations, design balance, etc.)...

It would of been helpful if they had, no idea why they didn't though. First time trying this from GOG(first time of hearing about it) and I was trying to do damage with lighting. Wasn't until I checked out the FAQ did I relise that it did no damage at all.
