Hi all,

We are pleased to announce that all three of the Realms of Arkania games (PC for now, Mac versions will be made available ASAP :) ) are now available in German. Please check your game shelves for the new drop down menu where you can select between the English and German version.

Because it's the German CD versions of the games. Unfortunately, the Engliash version never got the same treatment the German versions did.

So it's the difference in voiced dialogue? Or does the German version have the full soundtrack that was removed from Gog's version some time ago?

I've bought every single release from "Realms of Arkania 2: Star Trail", since it's my favorite DOS game, but to have it here on GOG as German CD version as well it's just awesome! :)

There are a few scenes voiced, but the main difference makes the full soundtrack (3 audio cds for Realms of Arkania 1+2).

German is a bigger language than English, of course.

The German word for "dog" is "nachtessenamhearbeitsamedienstmagdhereintrat".

The German word for "blanket" is "Erszahltejefamilienfunkeltewodustabellepagekommenabdazauneinsdusemuhevielhaarachsteilwegaltengibbiseinemreden nebenriefejewulaunedaanraschenkleinesubrigenbedecktschoneshe."

Guess it's time to pick up the third game as well. Although I'm not German I do appreciate all the effort you guys are going to to bring us the complete experience for every one of these titles.

Ich bin entzückt!
Meine Nachbarn halten mich sicher für verrückt.
Seit Stunden nun das gleiche Stück,
ich mich am Intro mit CD Musik entrück...

...grausame Erinnerungen holen mich ein,
vom ork in seltsamer Rüstung der als Kind für mich ein Weib zu sein schein..ähm.

[ he really wears some wierd armour! And why where the orcs in the intro green when they are called black pelts?]


anyway, is the empty Mac Tab for Realms of Arkania there on purpose?
