What would be the best game if i only have enough time to play one of them.

2 hands down. I would say its better in every way. I really liked how long the distances were between towns, in 1 they were all one day trips, so survival skills had little use. 2 the distances are much longer and you have to survive the wild, you get events that happen while on the road and in general it has this simulator/exploration feel that 1 didnt. The graphics are much improved too.

Realms of Arkania 2 is one of my all time favorite CRPG - hands down.

I'm enjoying playing 1 to get the hang of the game for 2. You can also import your party from 1 to 2.

1 is borderline unplayable, this coming from someone who has been playing crpg's for 25 years. It may be worth it if you want to learn the mechanics, but other than that it has nothing redeemable.

The game is playable quite well. Just maximize strength and focus on weapon attack skills to speed up combat and inventory management.

I found with 2 that i kept catching illnesses and diseases. I'm sure there's a solution but at the time of the original release i gave up on them and moved onto 3.

Yes, or use poison and ranged. Or better yet both. Poisoned Throwing Stars are quite good. Th other key is to avoid searching random houses and play it as a detective game. Star Trail still having password protection is a real downer though.
