First, excuse my for my bad English, i am German.
So, Raptor crashed with this Error Message:
uhmm, i try to translate^^
This Application cannot start, during incorrect Applicationconfiguration. To solve this problem install this Application again.
I have try this, but not success:(
Its not writeprotection. I tried to start the game as Admin, no solution.
Can anybody help me?
My Sysconfig:
Board: P5B
CPU: E8600
GPU: GTX 470
OS: Windows XP SP 3
HD: Raptor WD1500 ADFD
RAM: 2x 1 GB Corsair TwinX XMS2

Same problem as in the original post here. I tried installing Raptor on a fresh windows xp sp3 with newest updates.
The english equivalent of the error message is:
"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect".
Reinstalling the .Net Framework and VC++ Libraries didn't do any good.Okay, this solved the problem for me:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package needs to be downloaded and installed manually (I took an old one, 2005, before)

I was having the same problem :

I downloaded and installed the C++ Package and now everything works fine.

You are right... I had tried installing it on a stand alone machine and it would not start.

Change machine to one connected, after installation... it proceed to download .Net 2.0 from Microsoft.

Game is working now.
