I don't want sound like a whiner but I can't help feeling that this game would be better off if it could be run on Dosbox as it would allow me a more flexible configuration (resolutions, videomodes, scalers, aspectratio, etc.).
With this version I only have a few resolution options which all have black borders on top and bottom and I have to switch aspect ratios manually each time (though that is partly due to AMD's crappy drivers).
Looking at the files I don't think it can be done as the files seem to be altered for the DotEmu version.

According to this post, it appears to be the W32 version, i.e. 2010 Edition. I wouldn't mind seeing both versions here myself.

Yes, if it would be the original version run in Dosbox Linux users would also benefit from it.

I've been waiting for years to get the dos registered version. This windows version sucks and I still regret buying it.
Limited, incorrect video options, limited audio options... is there anything that's actually better in this edition?

Glad I checked the forums before buying, no sale until they add the original DOS version.
DOS version is owned by a different publisher.
