I'm on Windows 10 Single Language. I tried many combinations of compatibility settings and found that the game only launches when I set it to Windows 98/Me compatibility AND 16-bit color, otherwise it goes to full screen, turns black, and crashes to desktop.

However, the end result is unplayable, it uses this odd window that I screenshot, and the mouse position in the window doesn't match the in-game position, meaning even clicking the menus is almost impossible.

Help pls

I have my compatibility set to Windows XP Service Pack 2.

When it starts it sometimes crashes to desktop but if you select the icon for RRT2 on the bottom toolbar you can then get to the game in full screen after it has changed display resolution.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for the advice, unfortunately it doesn't work, the game _always_ crashes to desktop on XP SP2, and on lower versions of windows I gotta set it to 16bit color to work (and it looks way off).
The only way I got this to work was setting a virtual machine with windows XP
