So i got almost to the end of IV as a wizard, defeated Ad Avis, and i think i'm supposed to cast sumoon staff again to complete the game. The problem is is that when i cast any spell, the game tells me that "you're to busy to cast spells right now", and doesn't do anything. Am i doing something wrong or is this a bug, and if so how do i get arround it?
It's a bug alright, and I'll tell you how to bypass it.

After you cast the spell that defeats Ad Avis - without opening any menus, click somewhere to cast the spell again. At that point, you should be free to cast Summon Staff and beat the game.

This is a particularly annoying game-breaking glitch, and nowhere near as hilarious as one in the same room in the floppy version.

I always experienced that in the CD version, too. It was so annoying.
Thanks, it's late now but i'll try it out later.

EDIT: It worked, thank you! Weird how the congratulation screen has the same music as the game over one though.

I believe that's a joke. Games designed by Lori and Corey Cole have lots of them.

I suppose one could take it as an acknowledgment of Toby and Katrina's loss.
