Most online FAQs, my old hintbook from back in the day when that was a thing, and every other source suggests I should get 1 Puzzle Point for selling magic mushrooms to the Healer. But when I do so... nothing happens (to my score counter, anyway).

I suppose the sane thing to do would be shrug it off, but I'm kinda going for a "perfect" game here, which means maxing out stats, getting the full 500 points, and not using cross-class skills (so no exploiting the Detect Magic bug).

Anyone out there know what the computer is getting confused about?

(So far, I've already returned the Healer's Ring and sold her two bunches of flowers from Erana's Peace, if that makes a difference.)

Apparently, you get the puzzle point if you sell her enough mushrooms to get the "Thanks, but I don't need any more," reaction dialogue (approximately 9).

And then you exploit terrible scripting by selling even more for easy money and break the economy of the only game in the series where the economy actually is a challenge.
