Should I install it or is it already included in the games, given that they have a higher version than the patch? Did any of you install the normal patches from Sierra on top of that or not?

I think the universal patch is for older versions, so if you download the game, you don't need it. Also, I didn't install any other patch. ;)

If your installer is version 1.x then you should install the universal patch. If your installer is version 2.x then the universal patch is already included.

All official Sierra patches should already be included. There may be a few special cases when you need to modify a few things, but far and few between. So no need to preemptively install any other patches.

Alright, thanks both of you! :)

In that case I'll try to configure Roland eventually - were you able to make it sound like the real thing, if you use Munt?

No idea what the real thing sounded like, since I never had a Roland. But I recall being able to set it up with Munt and Roland, but can't recall how I did it. I think it was a thread in vogons forums, but not sure which one.

I did set it up too before reinstall but I remember it sounded way off, because the real one we had sounded different. So I was curious if the new version is improved or I should just try to get a real Roland to get the authentic experience I remember so sweetly. :)
