If you missed it, the Coles, who are the main writers/devs of QfG, have finally completed their Kickstarted Hero-U game, which is a spiritual successor to their QfG series. They don't have the license to QfG (and thus the world of Gloriana) anymore, so they created it in a new world with a new protagonist, however supposedly the world is still referred to as Gloriana in the game (probably trying to get around the license issues somehow).

If you want to try a new QfG-like game by the authors of QfG, go for Hero-U.

So the game actually has various references to the earlier games, at least in the beginning (I didn't get very far yet). There's even a painting of Erana's Meadow!

I'm surprised nobody has commented on this though, I would've expected people to be excited about the game as it's basically the next QfG and there's no other thread about it besides the Kickstarter thread.

Did you somehow miss a certain statue? You should have seen it by now. I mean it has a whole forum. Still I would have thought someone else wouldn't have realized it was out and commented here.

Late reply. Well, I'm not spoiling all the references for everyone , that's why I mentioned just one. ;)

I know there's a specific subforum for it, but just like you said, I was thinking there might be some people who might not know the game is out or even that it exists, as not everyone keeps up with gaming news all the time or perhaps people new to the series might learn about it that way. So I made a separate thread just in case it makes the game more visible to people who don't know about it.

This is a fantastic game! Everyone who reads this forum should get this game.
