I see people mentioning the old EGA version here, but no one specifically mentioning if it comes with the GOG version or not. I thought I'd heard that it did, but when I downloaded and installed the QFG games, the only thing that seems to have come with it is the VGA remake. There's only 5 icons and the one for QFG1 starts the VGA version.

The EGA version is the one I played as a kid (back when the game was still called Hero's Quest) and the one I'd prefer to play now, for nostalgia's sake. If it is included, how would I start it?
From the gamecard:

Includes both: VGA and original version of Quest for Glory 1.

It's included and already set up to work on Windows XP/Vista/7, no additional fiddling with settings or emulators required.
Although I recommend playing it with ScummVM. Easier to choose between settings that way.

It's possible that the installer places only VGA shortcut on desktop, but you can find both (EGA / VGA) in Menu Start;

Ah. I should have thought to check. But thanks. I thought I read it came with the original.
