I tried a few things and can't get the resolution to even set?
OK I installed the engine and data but I quess I need the test build part which isn't available due to a security flaw. the other links above for the 1080p isn't good.

Both source ports are working absolutely fine in 1440p on my end so 1080p shouldn't be a problem at all.

Well I can't get it. I installed the engine and the data. I assume you need the test buld which isn't available. There are no instructions but it seemed straight forward. I edited the cfg file also and it still won't get the rez right.

Set your customHeight and customWidth in the config file and also make sure that seta r_mode is set to "-1".

I tried but it's not working I tried it all. what's strange is nothing changes anything. no matter what I do it stays the same. Thanks Anyway

The files in this link I dwnld as a zip but what do I do with it? It looks like a linux make file. Do i need to build it? Thanks

Download the latest file available in the "release" section (2020-05-27). Extract all the files into a folder and then copy ALL pak files from your normal Quake 3 Arena installation (...\Quake III\baseq3) into the baseq3 folder of the source port. Once that is done use quake3e.exe, quake3e.x64.exe or quake3e-vulkan.exe to launch the game.

Is there a mod to add support for widescreen hud? Even better if it is one that the servers does not complain about it's usage.
