I've been trying to replay quake 2 with the Quake 2 XP upgrade, but when I start a game, my view keeps spinning in circles. I've tried:
uninstalling and reinstalling all the files;
Uninstalling, reinstalling, then upgrading to Quake2 3.24, then installing Quake 2xp;
Uninstalling, reinstalling, then installing quake 2xp then installing the Quake 2 3.24 patch;

The last method worked for a while. I was able to play for about 2 hours. When I saved and came back the next night, the game was back to spinning in circles. I tried the other methods I listed above, but nothing works and now I can't get the view to stop spinning.
