Hi guys,

I would like to know why I cannot buy Quake 2 here on gog.com.
I did see posts here in this forum about Quake 2 topics, so the game is available
here, isn`t it ? Maybe the problem is that I have a german account here ?

Yeah, it's a regional thing. Sorry, but you're out of luck unless you find someone from outside of Germany willing to gift or trade you the games.

If you have problems with regional lockouts (like me), GOG doesn't block you from buying with a IP from the "wrong" region. You can use some web proxy an can buy the game over that.

Quake 2 and 3 are blocked in Germany. I don't know why 3, it was sold here normally back in the day, maybe it was banned rather late like Doom 3.

No. Quake 3 is on the index. Doom 3 isn't, but the Doom 3 expension pack is on the index, because the CDU, the Catholic Church and associated parties complained constantly.
