Here is how to get the music working for normal people

Step 1: Download the Ultimate Quake Patch. I would put the link but GOG won't let me :(

Step 2: Install it to your Quake location (Example: C:\GOG\Games\Quake)

Step 3: MAKE SURE YOU DELETE "opengl32.dll" FROM YOUR QUAKE FOLDER

Step 4: Enjoy!
The description here implies that this patch gives you a different music. Is that the case?
Because, if it is the case this is not a solution at all.

And, btw. Do you think that using two simple programs to rip a CD image is not for normal people?

No, the music is all the same; the separate patches are to make sure that everything runs smooth for each game.

This guide is to help getting the music working in fewest steps as possible, something a lot of guides seemed to miss the memo on. Some people just want things working asap
