I hate playing the default Quake 2 because when it resizes my main screen it f***s-up everything I have on my other monitors.
Looking around, I found that Yamagi Quake 2 gives me modern resolutions while still delivering the authentic Quake 2 experience in all other factors.
I'd like to still use GOG Galaxy to launch the game though, because it is convenient.
So how do I set up GOG Galaxy to run Yamagi instead of vanilla? And all of the expansions and mods that GOG runs as well.

Well Yamagi replaces the Quake2 executable and gog galaxy is using Q2Launcher to run quake.. so then what you need to do is to modify the launcher settings (Q2Launcher.ini) so it looks for Yamagi modified Quake 2 instead of the one provided by GOG. I think I just answered a previous question I posted a few minutes ago :P
