Do the GOG versions of Quake 4 and Doom 3 BFG work with Windows XP?

Why I ask:
I have the disc versions already and they work on Windows XP, but I thought it would be nice to have DRM free digital versions too.

Also, Turok doesn't officially support XP, but it still runs fine under XP.

I'm fairly certain the games would work, my main concern is the installers.

For those who would tell me to upgrade to a later Windows version:

I keep a computer with XP around to play old games. I only play old games that originally supported XP.

For everything else I use Linux. I have no need or desire to "upgrade" my version of windows.

GOG's Quake 4 installs and runs fine on XP with OpenAL installed.
No idea about Doom 3 BFG but I'd doubt it since it never officially supported XP unlike the original Doom 3, but who knows?
Doom 3 BFG is not a windows xp game... (only original Doom 3)

Quake 4 works fine on xp but you can't use Galaxy with xp

First, I already said that both Quake 4 and Doom 3 BFG run on Windows XP. I've already got the disc versions of both and they work on XP just fine. Doom 3 BFG doesn't say it supports XP on the box, but it still works.

My question was: Will the -GOG- versions install and play on XP?

Are the installers off-line, or can you only install the games with Galaxy? I've heard that Galaxy no longer supports Windows XP.

That's what I wanted to know.

Actually, it isn't or shouldn't be. First, yes the installers are offline (also as offline without Galaxy installer inside even ). GOG has not reneged on this to date.
Second, what you want to know is if any of theses titles are Galaxy powered (e.g. cloud saves, Galaxy achievements, etc) and does the embedded, linked to Galaxy.dll file (game-side integration), if included, still allow the game to run under XP. Some of the later versions of the Galaxy.dll use kernel functions not available in XP and most devs don't conditionally link to it (e.g. crashes if moved/renamed).
I don't own either so know idea about Doom 3 BFG. Klumpen0815 already said Quake 4 works.
