Seems like it, yeah. Here it's still listed as 1.1, where on Steam there's a 1.11 and a 1.12.

It's a shame, because the 1.1 Dark Fist expansion was buggy. I don't know if 1.12 has fixed all of the bugs or not, but it couldn't have hurt.
Steam Update 1.30: Easy mode introduces no-stat-decay

steam has a suuper easy mode..... no stats decay

http://steamcommunity.com/games/394310/announcements/detail/770507316838759373

why arent we getting updates ?
steam seems to be more important apparently.
But then again devs/ publishers that are here and on Steam put up much more old and new games titles then here.

This looks like a form of digital discrimination ....... :D

Anyway, fact is some updates/upgrades aren't coming or are very slow to arrive here.
Seems Steam has priority one with many publishers.

The developer even had a "gee wiz, piracy is a thing" blog post on the Steam announcement page some time ago. I wonder if that had anything to do with anything. "Ha ha, enjoy your DRM-free bugged endgame edition!"

DRM is a disease and its everywhere .

The good thing is that no matter how strong a DRM is if the game is hot it will be cracked....
so in the end the DRM hugging publishers will still loose lots of potential income.

Anyway, there seem to be some games at steam that will always need to download extra 'data' , this data requires to be online cause it will be fetched, after closing the game it seems that invisible data will be removed again.
Now that is some bad ass DRM, and maybe it will get worse.

The sad thing is mant steam games aren worth all the extra drm protection, besides the AAA games at steam there are so many inferior games at Steam, funny thing its greenlitted, everyone votes for it, once its there 99% of the game get either a mixed or a bad (thumbsdown) review, and poor old Steam keeps on changing the review system but that wont change the fact too many games are absolutely crap.

The Steam sales generally sux, pardon my french, i like HOG (hidden object games) but there are many crap HOG games aswell.
So i keep track of all sales, the weekly deals conntain 90% of the time the same crap games, sometimes they cliam to have 312 at sale, they forget that sometimes one game is randomly positioned on another place, this will cause some games to be repeated 10 times, then they had a page once that had 22 DLC, imho DLC = NOT a game.
This way anyone can claim to have hundreds of games at sales, but if 50% is repeated and lot is DLC, you dont have any good sales.

I only buy games at steam that can run once installed this way you can zip or rar the game and use it on any windows that supports the game, if i noticed that a game requires steam to run i will delete te game from my HD and never buy from that dev/publisher again.

I dont like drm not even it the game was free or 10 cents.
I'm looking forward to the 1.3 version, I hope they'll update the GOG version, soon.

Don't hold your breath. Maybe bother the creators. But I think they've declared buyer's remorse when it comes to DRM-free editions, and they don't seem to have any interest in having a DRM-free copy of an up-to-date and bug-free copy exist anywhere on the internet. The only thing we have to look forward to now is boycotting the sequel.

I remember when STOIC denied a DRM Free Version of BANNER SAGA 2. When the pirate-copy of the steamversion was online only days after the steam release, Banner Saga 2 came to GOG within a month...
When will all developers realize, that not DRM will provide a good sales result, but good work will do!

So I have to download a pirate copy in order to play version 1.3?

I'm hoping that's not the case. I've attempted to ask GOG about the issue, but the developer and publisher are ignoring them regarding this as well, at least from what they told me. Tried Twitter, tried email, I've heard nothing from Tiny Build or Lazy Bear. At the moment I'm trying to ask them via the Steam discussion board. Also no response. It's really upsetting, considering I'm just as much of a paying customer as anyone else who bought the game on any other platform.

Maybe if there's enough noise they'll do something about it? But as of yet they've been radio silent, except for the one German article that someone in that Steam thread mentioned, and the Steam announcement mentioned earlier in this GOG thread. As a customer, if they refuse to support their product on a platform that they chose to sell it on, they've lost my business. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I went ahead and gave it a bad gog.com review. This is pretty screwed up.

Sent an email to the PR director of tinyBuild Games a few hours ago . She sent me this reply :
We’ll update it when there are more content updates, right now the major update is Steamworks components that only work in Steam environment.

Oh swell. We can look forward to the bugged release version of the next content update too. Whenever that happens.

This is not an excuse for me :S To begin with even if they can't push same patches on different platforms , why they are selling those games on different platforms ? Why they don't stick with Steam only ? This is so lame :/
Actual is versioin 1.3. On GOG is 1.1.
1.3 includes the super easy mode, which makes the game much more playable. Please put the update on GOG.
