please add an option to disable head/weapon bobbing.. this would fantastic for people who (like me) are prone to motion sickness.. thanks in advance! all the best!
This game already feels extremely awesome .. im very close to finish my first campaign and probably dont really need to ask for the first thing ..

There is so much to do and try after playing it through once .. would be great for a game + mode with the ability to respec your character .. since to be honest the warlock part is pretty hard to pull off the first time compared to the abundance of raw firepower you get with regular gunplay

The Visual problem i have encountered is that the game is simply extremely dark sometimes and even in brighter areas your character can have a "black aura" that sticks to very close objects around you which just looks plain weird sometimes

And the magic shield will even dull the colors more .. would maybe work better if its visible on your health like a blue additional bar ...

What i hope most is that this game maybe offers and infinite mode .. like randomly choosen maps and maybe some randomised monsters on it would be very nice ..

On weapons sounds:
Most of them range from great-amazing.
Very satisfying stuff, you did awesome on the sounds, but I find it jarring how the Slug-Shotgun is quieter than the normal shotgun somehow. It just lacks the anger or punch, soundwise. Otherwise the feedback on it feels great, very fun to use.
I think I already posted this one, but the chaingun sounds like it has some massive bass boost to it and gets a bit annoying to use. The only reason it isn't a huge problem is because of how fast it chews through ammo, leading me to switch back to something else.

On monster sounds:
The bat/flying enemy in the first episode has some really goofy death sounds. I get that bats squeek, but that sound in particular is very goofy and kind of weird. Not a huge deal though.

On player sounds:
I didn't even know there was voiced dialogue/ one liners until someone pointed it out and I turned down the music a lot. It's so low compared to the rest of the mix. I'd love a separate slider for it at least so I can turn it up and the effects down.
The voice actor (i'd assume you) doesn't sound *bad* by any means, just like a wizard in his 50's.
I would like a quick knife throw button, so when I have my gun out and want to save ammo I can finish weak enemies off with a knife throw while still having my gun equipped. Thanks.

donlakonchinno: Also - please don't place enemies where player spawns so they instantly start attacking when you just loaded into a level.
Common man! tha'ts a classic!
try going into level 2 of system shock and you find will find a cool welcome party right at the start :)

Slug shotgun upgrade is the reason i want to be able to downgrade/un-upgrade my weapon lol
The lightning staff upgrade, and even the main staffs "Hold Attack" sound doesn't loop correctly.

The lightning staffs beam doesnt originate properly from the staffs central point, giving it this strange offset.

Hope that's fixable or atleast helps in some way, I wouldn't class them as a bug but more of a personal issue i suppose? Sorry in advance.

Edit: The executor spell doesn't seem to scale at all with Strength and Spirit, It does as little as 4 bars of health to a grunt in E4 with 10 Strength and 12 Spirit!

Edit 2: I don't know if its intentional, But the axe swing has the warlock vocalize at the end of the return animation, I figured he would vocalize on the swing.

Also please don't fix animation/switch cancelling the axe attack delay, it's a lovely tech <3

Hi guys!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who uses their precious time to post their feedback here. I really appreciate it and I am looking forward into adding stuff you mentioned here. Currently I am working on an optimization patch, coming very soon!

Best Regards,
Jakub
I would love if we could rebind the keys for the weapons (maybe even down to individual weapons?).

Id like to put the weapons choices onto buttons areound wasd and the ones i asigned to my extra mosue buttons.

The would give a boost in convinience to accessing said weapons quickly and effective.

Yay! We love the game!! <3
You're most welcome! :)

I've completed the game on Normal now, and began on a Hardcore that got cut short by a dynamite exploding point blank in my face due to an overhanging chandelier. Such is life, but, i have more feedback:

- Fourth boss was easier than all preceding bosses, somehow. Didn't get hit by its ramming attack though, that might have caused a lot of damage? In any case, it's functionally not all that different from third boss, with the key difference being that the fourth does not have a horde of mooks to support it. Not entirely sure what to do about that without making it unfair, though.

- Big shoota in e5m5 got knocked into lava by explosive knockback; maybe an option to turn that off? It looks cool for sure, and the vast majority of the time it's not going to be an issue, but the lava in E5 can gobble up items. Thank goodness the gun showed up in the next mission, it's lovely. :v

- Gotta say, i quite like how you're differentiated the Chain Reactor from the classic BFG-type guns. Only minor "gripe" is that it seemed to cause unusually high damage to the final boss, often requiring only one or two shots to bring it down to the next phase.

Also a few bugs, but they go in the appropriate thread.

Zaratul: -wierd sound balance, i almost cant hear hero voice
I didn't know the hero had a voice, so it must be really downmixed. I also didn't know the game had text after episodes until reading about it here. Never showed up for me.
So far I very like the game (except for the performance issues I have with a 1080GTX but hope it will be patched) the only thing that bother me is with the axe. The recovery time is not really clear So I really expect to slash when I see the axe repositioning. It's quite disturbing to see the axe ready to slash in the UI but when you click nothing happen. Guess I just have todeal with it.

Anyway, the game is fucking awesome :)
The game looks good, but the only thing i'm unhappy about is the brightness. It's way too dark. Using medium quality solves this problem.
