Patch when? I bought this game a week ago and I still haven't been able to enjoy it properly because of performance and input related issues. Another weekend down the drain I guess (yes I have no life)...
Me too, I'm also going to be that guy, looking forward to playing this game once the performance issues are fixed.
Be patience, the dev is 19 years old (plus I think the others helping), probably he have a live, studies, work, and hobbies to do. At least he usually take time to list and answer here on the forums

Hey, you're right. I'm fixing the bugs in the meantime. Patch is coming soon, we just have to test it internally to see if it works as expected.

Best Regards,
Jakub

Really great to see this. This is one of the first games in a long time I've actually been on the edge of my seat looking forward to patches and updates. The game is already fantastic and can only get better with a little fine tuning.
Just curious: is there a more detailed eta for the patch than "soon"?

Have to echo this sentiment. That first patch came out super quick, this one's been about 2 weeks now. Granted, this new one is going to be more elaborate and I *HOPE* will have the gamepad support we were promised, but I hate knowing that this is laying dormant on my hard drive until the patch slips on through.

On the other hand, I'd hate the patch to be rushed without having fixed some serious issues, and I wish the developer all the best in getting it done properly. But I'm bored of checking the forums everyday to see if I can leap back into this game again :)

Performance issues? What are you running this on, Amiga?

For a game with this look, have that choppy and laggy feel¿? Yes. there are on the forum some post from ppl with overkill machines and laggy gameplay. With my 1070ti it feels laggy too, and other users stated that the problem is the frame rate, because the fps counter is always at 60. At least for me.

LOL XD

I wish that were the case, because then there would be a solid explanation for why the game runs so badly! Many more users have reported the same issue:

Windows 7 Pro
Intel i7 5930K (3.5 - 4.0 GHZ)

Well then perhaps they have viruses or poorly built PC's, this is not a heavy 3d game to tax any computers...ffs people I have run DooM 2016 on gt560...you can't run PW on a modern PC? Stop buying your PCs at tesco
It's laggy because some Unity games have issues with high refresh rate displays. I had this exact same problem with Yooka Laylee for example, but that was fixed.

I have a 60hz monitor. It says the game is running at a locked 60fps. So no that's not the issue here. It's probably frame pacing/timing issues.

Also I have no problems running other Unity games. Only Project Warlock is not running correctly.

Well others explained already. Or maybe its just a vision problem, but the lag is there. And the Doom 2016 is not a good example. Go to google and download old Doom with source ports plus one of those insane maps with millions of enemies. And then install brutal doom. original doom was not a heavy 3d game either but I bet even a 2080 will have lag. The probelm is not the computers or the components. The problem is the engine. overkill systems does not give you unlimited power, its called "optimization" and even a shitty game with poor optimization can be laggy with a nasa system or even with those pixar renderization farms. Every system and computer is a different world.

But again, other users did notice the lag, maybe is a visual problem with your eyes
