I am sick and tired of waiting for GOG to give us The Web so I was forced to look for abandonware versions. I used the emuparadise one with a cue file from the ISO zone to install and run the game, but it was unplayable because the music did not work.

Can somebody please give me a link to a copy that has working music, Preferably one with a No CD crack? Maybe also try and force GOG to release the goddamn game here too so I don't have to resort to privateering in the first place?

Not even Barnstorm games have pulled their fingers out of their asses and released an Ultra version of the Web on Steam with Timeshock like they were going to.

Excuse my language, it's just that I really want to play the original Pro Pinball game but I keep running into so many hurdles and neither GOG or Steam seem interested in giving it to us. It's very frustrating because I saw a video of the Web and it looked cool, making me want to play it, especially as I love Timeshock.

Gog isn't going to give anything, so it's no use complaining about it.
I get multiple hits on eBay, not too expensive (at least here) so why not try that?

I bought one on Amazon and got the Windows copy running from the disk. It was a duel pack with Fantastic Journey, though I didn't install that one. It's quite good but the DOS version doesn't work as after installing, it thinks I removed the disk when I didn't. I had mounted the disk and my DOS games folder as a hard drive and installed the DOS game that way. It's not too much of a problem because it works through windows.

I do find fault with the fact that the game cannot differentiate between Shift and Right Shift for the flippers however, unlike Timeshock. I had to bind the right flipper to Right CTRL.

Even so, why won't GOG give us the original version of The Web? If they can give us the later three then why can't we have the original?
