Quick Question,
I bought Prison Architect from HumbleBundle over a year ago and we got the main game.
I wanted to buy the Afficianado DLC as it is only an art book etc, nothing game related.

Whilst I could add it to the cart, a notice came up saying I have to have bought Prison Architect to be able to buy the DLC.

I understand this is tricky because you might have people buying DLC for a game they do not have but this DLC is just "extras" not tied to game play.

:(

GOG has an unusual policy with DLC where you can only buy it for yourself / redeem it yourself if you already own the base game here. Might seem odd, but I'd reckon it probably saves them a lot of support hours on refunds / getting some things to work.

Hi Saccys,
Yes I understand with programs but not with extras like a sound track or PDF documents, :( I now have to wait for PA to be on special and buy it again just to access the DLC :(

unfortunately its under the same policy though.

I can tell you however, the artbook isnt amazing (its okay, but not amazing) and as the soundtrack only features in the campaign part of the game, you arent missing much on the whole. worth picking up on a discount maybe - but nothing to be desperate for until such an offer comes around again (and I'm pretty sure the next sale wont be too long). :)

Hello Sachys,
Oh ok. Thank you very much for that. I was hoping the extras would be really good. May I ask how many pages the artbook is ?

I'll probably wait until it is around $5-$7 then. Thank you again for the feedback re the extras I greatly appreciate it.

Currently about 21 and 30mb in size (I've a feeling this might change a little over time).

Thank you very much for that Sachys. :)
No more Steam purchases for me..

The Soundtrack was WAV files, with no art or information.

Here, MP3 files with art and composer info.
