Is it possible for wormwood to remake this game entirely in HighRes, without wadjet eye? The official artworks show of how well this game would look if produced in HighRes.

Just take a look at the cover art:

Not possible. Higher resolution backgrounds is relatively feasible, but higher resolution sprites would require more frames of animation (consider the awful Monkey Island 1 remake animation), so the art cost would be much higher. Other aspects of the game, like the voice over, would likely need an overhaul, too. The game has done relatively well commercially (it has sold over 200k copies and grossed over half a million dollars), but I doubt the audience would be that much broader with better production values, and many existing players wouldn't repurchase.

Aside from these technical impediments, I think the team (certainly I) would rather explore new worlds than remake Primordia. :D

Sorry to disappoint!

Well, at least I´ve got a nice answer. :)

Maybe it could pay off to keep the idea of a Primordia-remake in memory. Could be a project to get some new guy into the studio. Could be a project to collect good crowdfunding money in otherwise dark days. Could be...

I like your "Buy Sacrifice" tagline, incidentally. Loved the campaigns, though I never was very good at multiplayer.
Most of the remakes released recently are from games 15-20 years old or more. Their originals tend to have very dated graphics and UI and are are often difficult to get working om modern machines. Those remakes target both the original purchasers (who want to relive their fond memories on a modern system) and also younger gamers who simply weren't around when the game was first released.

Primordia was released in 2012. That's not so long ago long ago that the groups mentioned above would buy enough copies to make it worth the studio's efforts.

The low-res style is part of its charm; I wouldn't be interested in a remake.
